Vaisakhi

Vaisakhi

Vaisakhi is on Monday April 13th 2020. This harvest festival celebrated by Sikhs worldwide, it is a day to spend worshiping and spending time with family and loved ones. It is celebrated widely in the UK where Vaisakhi normally brings about much festivity, such as the popular Birmingham and Trafalgar Square Vaisakhi festivals. However, this year due to the country being in lockdown, the usual festivities will not be organised. This does not mean, however that Vaisakhi will be cancelled. Celebrations will continue at home where families will spend the day participating in prayers and spending quality time together.
